Few workdays allow parents to visit their child at childcare, and drop-in visits can be disruptive to a child's day. netSCOPE offers a winning solution for parents who wish to stay visually connected with their child, from anywhere in the world, via the Internet.

Caregivers and preschool teachers work hard to shape a child's day in educational, entertaining ways -- ways that parents often don't see. netSCOPE offers parents a new understanding of a child's environment.

netSCOPE's founders have a child in childcare. We are personally involved with privacy issues, childcare and parental concerns.

How It Works:

Cameras are placed in every child's room and in public spaces at the childcare center. Cameras grab a color image every few seconds. These images are transmitted to an on-site computer and then sent to an Internet site that only your encrypted password and e-mail address can access.

An unlimited number of parents can access the same camera simultaneously. You can watch for as long and as often as you like.

Parents and one additional immediate family member may be authorized to view the images from any computer linked to the Internet. All they need is a password and any version of Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0, or higher. Parents pay only an extra $5 for each additional child at the same center. Relatives or others can start their own account--but only with a parent's authorization.

What Parents See:

The screen is made up of live, still color pictures that are updated every few seconds. netSCOPE allows parents to view only their child's room, the playground and other public spaces in the child care. We show what you would see if you visited in person. Lenses are a fixed focal length and cannot focus on any one child, nor do they focus on bathroom or changing areas. There is no sound transmission.

How To Sign Up:

Click Childcare Sign-Up. This will take you to a layout of your child's center where you will see a camera view of all the rooms (filmed empty) at your child's facility. Click on your child's room to proceed to our Sign-Up form. There you'll complete the requested information, select a password of your choice and click "submit." We will e-mail notification within 48 hours that your account has been processed. Anytime afterward, you can simply log on to netSCOPE's web site (www.netscopeinc.com), enter your email address and password and: WATCH YOUR WORLD.

Don't forget the grandfolks and other loved ones. If you refer a new account, netSCOPE will give you one month of free service. Accounts will only be activated upon authorization of the referring party. Please access netSCOPE's agreement regarding activating "Referral Accounts".

For Your Protection:

Security is netSCOPE's business. We take every precaution to ensure your protection during the sign-up process and any time we communicate your personal and financial information. Your peace-of-mind is netSCOPE's first concern. In turn, as a day account subscriber you should be discreet. Anyone who knows your password reserves the right to view your child.

Only one additional immediate family member residing at the same address may share a netSCOPE daycare account and password. The e-mail location may be at home or at the office. If you ever forget your password just go to Password Lookup located underneath the navigation bar on our main daycare page.

All sign-up information is verified with the affiliated childcare to ensure that only those enrolled at their facility can receive a netSCOPE acccount. Account members are permitted to view only their child's room and other public spaces used for recreation. The center's address is never published.

Your secured camera view is accessed through the encrypted, password entry box on netSCOPE's home page. To sign-up; enter the requested information, select a password of your choice and then click, "submit." We will e-mail notification that your account has been activated when your childcare affiliation and room view has been confirmed and your credit card information has been processed. The name that appears on the credit card must correspond with the family name registered at the corresponding childcare facility.

Billing:

netSCOPE will bill your credit card monthly. We accept Visa, Master and Discover cards.
